2019 Corrosion Protection Society @ Sonic City
Professor Itagaki received the Academic Achievement Award at the Society for Corrosion Protection, and Furukawa-kun and Ryomoto-kun received the Young Lecture Encouragement Award.
[Academic Achievement Award]
Winner: Masayuki Itagaki, Professor, Department of Advanced Chemistry, Faculty of Science and Engineering
Award title: Development of electrochemical measurement method and its application to corrosion research
Winners have consistently engaged in research on the development and application of electrochemical measurements and have been instrumental in their application to corrosion research. In addition, he has published many results on basic research on corrosion phenomena and new analysis methods, and has been highly evaluated both in Japan and overseas. This award was given because these research results have contributed significantly to the elucidation of corrosion phenomena from an academic point of view.
[Young Lecture Encouragement Award]
Winner: Takayuki Furukawa, 2nd year master's student, Department of Advanced Chemistry, Graduate School of Science and Engineering
Awards: Theoretical analysis of complex potential distribution function as a new transfer function and its application to local corrosion
Awards: At the Materials and Environment 2019 Competition Session, the Young Lecture Encouragement Award was awarded as an extremely excellent lecture as a result of the examination.
Winner: Ryosuke Ryomoto, 2nd year master's student, Department of Advanced Chemistry, Graduate School of Science and Engineering
Award title: Corrosion analysis of steel materials on a nano-micro scale
Awards: Same as above
