Professor Serge Cosnier of Grenoble Alpes University in France visited us on October 19, 2017.

After visiting the laboratory, it was held jointly by the Advanced EC Device Research Division and our laboratory.

He gave a lecture on biofuel cells and biosensors (photographed in photo Gallery).

The lecture was a great success with the participation of our students, Yuasa Kondo Lab, Abe Lab of Soken, Tsujimura Lab of University of Tsukuba, and Professor Takeda of Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology.

Lecturer Hoshi received the Progress Award of the Society for Corrosion and Anticorrosion.

Winner: Yoshinao Hoshi, Lecturer, Department of Advanced Chemistry, Faculty of Science and Engineering

Award title: Research on new corrosion diagnostic methods for copper and copper alloys by electrochemical methods

Awards: Utilizing copper corrosion diagnostic method and electrochemical impedance method in fresh water making full use of electrochemical measurement

We are working on the development of highly novel corrosion evaluation methods such as the evaluation method of the corrosion progress rate of copper alloys. these

Is it an academic and technical contribution to the Society for Corrosion and Anticorrosion through research results, and a positive contribution to the management of the society?

They were awarded the Progress Award as an up-and-coming young researcher who will lead the field of corrosion protection in the future.
